Catherine Motolenich Torres brings over 15 years of immigration law experience as Managing Attorney in Maryland, uniquely practicing across federal government, nonprofit, and private sectors. Specializing in complex asylum cases (affirmative and defensive), family-based immigration, and appellate work, she combines her former career as Supervisory Asylum Officer and Refugee Training Officer with extensive private practice experience. Her tri-sector background provides unparalleled insight into immigration processes, enabling strategic navigation of the most challenging cases.

Her government experience (2017-2025) included developing legal training programs and serving as subject matter expert on asylum, refugee and parole eligibility standards. Her nonprofit roles at Catholic Charities Arlington and Georgia Legal Services involved directing legal services programs and representing clients before state courts, USCIS, Immigration Courts, BIA, and federal courts.
